St. Joseph Pastoral Zone Created
On the 8th June 2024, a day after the Diocese of Kumba had a successful feast day celebration on the Solemnity of the Sacred Heart, the Bishop, Mgr Agapitus Nfon, issued an appointment letter which automatically cut off St. Joseph Mission Station from St. Anthony of Padua Parish, KumbaMbeng. Fr. Tim Francis Esona Njume was appointed as the Pioneer Rector of that Pastoral Zone.
St. Joseph has very dedicated and hardworking Christians. It was four years ago, in 2020, that they were made a mission Station and already they are a parish. They are currently in construction of a Massive Church edifice so that they can relocate from the school site. They have also the task of setting up a Presbytery. But with their dedication, and effort, together with their Rector, they shall achieve all these.
